Branchless banking can reach the unbanked customer that can’t be reached by the bank’s branches. In Indonesia, Branchless banking is proposed by OJK to increase Indonesia’s inclusion economy.
Branchless Banking help improve Indonesia’s economy by reaching the unbanked customer and using sharing fee model with the third party. With this business model, bank can decrease their operational cost to open new branches. Branchless Banking also creating new opportunities to enhance financial stability. More and more banks are presenting branchless banking services to work on existing opportunities.
